All conversation embeddings, prompt processing, and document analysis happen locally on your device. Your data never leaves your machine for processing purposes.
When you use AI models through Elosia, your prompts are sent directly to the chosen AI provider (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). We provide transparency about each model's data retention policies:

For users without accounts, we don't collect information to use. For users with optional accounts:

All your conversations, embeddings, documents, and application data are stored locally on your device. You have complete control over this data and can delete it at any time by clearing your application data or uninstalling Elosia.
For users with accounts, we store only the minimal information necessary to provide account functionality (e.g., email, authentication tokens). We do not store your conversations, prompts, or documents on our servers.

Since your data is processed and stored locally on your device, there are no international data transfers for core functionality. If you use an account feature, minimal account data may be processed on servers located in [jurisdiction]. Elosia is not directed to children under the age of 15. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
